Trenton Teacher's Victory Day Goes Digital
Victory Day now has a website where people can learn about sponsorship, ask questions and look at photos of previous games.
The idea for Victory Day came to Trenton teacher Aaron Segedi after watching the ESPN channel, and since its inception Victory Day has grown exponentially almost entirely by word of mouth--alone.
Those days are long gone. Victory Day is taking its message to the Internet with a new website designed to promote and inform people about the big day.
The website, www.victorydayfootball.com, allows Victory Day fans an opportunity to look at photos of past games, get information on sponsorships, read articles written about Victory Day, learn the history of the big day and contact organizers.
In other Victory Day news, more schools have expressed interest in beginning their own Victory Day including Sandusky Catholic Central and Rossford High School in Ohio.
A Victory Day logo is also in the works.
Those wishing to sponsor this years event will receive information soon according to Segedi.
Victory Day 2012 is set for 10:30 a.m. September 15 at Trenton High School.
