Trenton Public Schools to Award 3 Employees With Golden Apples Tonight
The Golden Apple Award is handed out to school employees in recognition of their outstanding contributions of their time, talent and efforts in support of the students parents and staff of the Trenton Public Schools.
In an unprecedented display of enthusiasm for staff, Trenton Public School officials are handing out three Golden Apple Awards at tonight's board of education meeting.
The Golden Apple Award is handed out to school employees in recognition of their outstanding contributions of their time, talent and efforts in support of the students parents and staff of the Trenton Public Schools.
Trenton school officials have not award more than two Golden Apples at once, since Trenton-Grosse Ile Patch launched in December 2010.
Award receipients are:
- Arthurs Middle School special educational paraprofessional Karen Bibee
- Arthurs Middle School teacher Kellie Teska
- Trenton High School teacher Peter Youngblood
The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Board of Education Building, 2603 Charlton Road.
