Trenton Patch Sticks Its Nose In Your Business

Trenton Patch editor Nate Stemen and Ad Manager Nicki Sharer are going to be hopping from business to business April 25 to meet the people that make Trenton a great place to work and shop.

Trenton Patch editor Nate Stemen and Patch Ad Manager Nicki Sharer are nosy. They just can't keep their noses out of other people's businesses.

That's why Nate and Nicki are going from business to business from 2 to 4 p.m. April 25 to meet the small business owners that are so vital to the city and the wonderful people who work and shop in their establishments.

This isn't the first time these two ambassadors of Patch have made their way around the city.

In March, Nate and Nicki met some truly wonderful and interesting business owners like Larry Pettinga at The Framery & Gallery and Dave Susewitz at Optical Ideas.

They had a long conversation with Jeff Cada of Cada's Hair Salon about interesting ways to revitalize Downtown Trenton.

They even had lunch at Savannah's and could not have been more pleased with the delicious food and outstanding service. (I'd like to personally thank our server Sandy Cholette for running out to the parking lot with my notebook and Sharer's leftovers that we left on the table. Thanks Sandy, we owe you one.)

Overall, meeting and speaking to Trenton business owners was a fantastic way for Nate and Nicki to further ingratiate themselves into the community.

They hope you will greet them with open arms and welcome them into your store or business as they embark on their second excursion along West Road and Downtown Trenton.

If you are a business owner and you'd like them to swing by and say hello, please provide your name and the name of your business in the comment section below.

Don't forget to claim your listing. What does that mean, you say? Click the link and find out how doing something that is free and takes less than a minute can help your business.

See you soon.

Thanks to all of the wonderful Trenton businesses we visited today. Your graciousness and welcoming spirits were a an absolute delight. It never ceases to amaze me just how truly kind Trenton residents and business owners can be. Special thanks to Suzanne and her staff at Alterations & "Sew" Much More for welcoming us in and talking with us, despite the long line of girls getting things ready for prom. And, a shout out to Timber's Salon for taking the time to learn about claiming your listing and saying such amazing things about Patch. We will see the rest of you next month!
