President Barack Obama: The president's campaign in Wayne County will originate from a new Dearborn office location. The president hasn't scheduled any campaign stops in Trenton, as of yet, but his supporters are on the ground.
GOP Presidential Nominee Mitt Romney: The Michigan-born candidate claimed a victory in the primaries in Trenton.
School Board: There are two seats on the Trenton Board of Education up for reelection. The filing deadline is August 14.
Ballot Proposal: There will be a ballot proposal regarding a bond issue for Trenton residents living in the Riverview Community School District. This is the second time Riverview Public Schools proposed the issue.
Judge Michael McNally: The judge is running unopposed for 33rd District Court in Woodhaven. The filing deadline has passed.
