More than one year after accepting control of the Elizabeth Park Marina, Trenton officials voted in favor of maintaining control for at least one more year.

The initial contract between the City of Trenton and Wayne County expired on Dec. 31, 2012. Offcials said the arrangeemnt with Wayne County proved to be beneficial to Trenton and were eager to extend the contract.

The Elizabeth marina opens on April 1 and closes on Oct. 31 each year, weather permitting.

Boat launch fees are $5 per vehicle and $2 for senior citizens Monday through Friday, excluding weekends and holidays.

Marina Rates are:

• Daily transient mooring rate is $25 per boat.

• Weekly marina mooring rates are $90.00 Boats 29' and under and $110.00 Boats 30' and over.

• Pump out rate is $5.00.
