Cub Scout pack 1723 won a trophy at Trenton's Christmas Parade last year, according to Kyle Adkins, a father of a scout and organizer of the pack.

"The boy, with the help of their parents, made special outfits and boxes that looked like presents," Adkins said. "Some had bows, ribbons and even lights."

The pack marched from the former Riverside Hospital property to the Trenton Fire Department during last year's parade.

The pack is comprised of Trenton and Grosse Ile children ages 5 to 8.
