Trenton City Council Study Session Monday
Trenton City Council members will discuss issues surrounding Chrysler and Legends 1926 Bar & Grill.
A study session is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Monday at Trenton City Hall, so council members and administration can discuss issues pertaining to two local businesses.
Council members will discuss:
- A Chrysler tax abatement issue: Chrysler representatives are expected to be present to request adding an additional $40 million to a current tax abatement agreed upon in May 2011. The initial abatement was for $114 million.
- Legends 1926 Bar & Grill and Kennedy Restaurant Group: Restaurant group representatives are expected to attend to discuss the items detailed in the following Trenton-Grosse-Ile Patch article -- Restaurant at Kennedy Behind Nearly $55,000 in Rent, Utilities.
