Tammy Travis-Taylor isn't just the president of the Grosse Ile Historical Society she's also a virtual encyclopedia of information pertaining to the island.

Travis-Taylor took Trenton-Grosse Ile Patch editor Nate Stemen on a historic tour of the islands that make up Grosse Ile and offered seemingly endless informaton and anecdotes.

The photos were taken by Stemen and the historical information was provided by Travis-Taylor.

I know the trolley ride is wonderful took it with our garden club, it was a wonderful historical lesson,I knew nothing before that of Grosse, ILE. :)
