Lynn Gardener, employee at The Framery and Gallery, thought long and hard about the most interesting item she'd ever framed.
She scratched her head, squinted her eyes and suddenly it came to her.
The most interesting item she'd ever framed wasn't framed at all and was sitting on a work station just a few feet away.
"It's the first time I've ever put three jerseys in the same frame," Gardener said.
Gardener was about halfway through the framing process of three aged jerseys for a former classmate of hers, Eric Turin.
Turnin wanted The Framery to frame three of his most prized possessions--his youth baseball jersey, high school baseball Jersey and college baseball jersey.
The former Grosse Ile High School Red Devil played college baseball at Hillsdale College in Hillsdale, MI and wanted to commemerate his rise to athletic success by framing his former jerseys. The oldest one, his little league jersey, was over 25 years old, according to Gardener.
