Police Blotter: Man Tells Police Someone Threw Peanut Butter at Him
The following information was supplied by the Trenton Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.
An 18-year-old man told police someone threw a jar of peanut butter at him as he held a sign on the side of the road at about 12:40 p.m. in front of Metro PCS on the corner of West and Newman.
The man reported the alleged incident at the Trenton Police Department.
He said he was outside working near the road when a black vehicle drove by and a male threw a jar of peanut butter at him through the open passenger window.
The man said he recognized the person who threw the peanut butter because the male had allegedly driven by the store many times, shouting obscenities at him.
He said he had ignored the shouting in the past, but stated that the peanut butter jar nearly hit him and told police the male’s name.
Police took the peanut butter jar and entered it into evidence.

This criminal is a little “nutty,” “butter” hope they catch him. He’ll have to “spread” his legs and get frisked before he gets out of this “jam”. Poor victim he was “a-salted.”

Peanut butter is expensive. If the jar was intact, I'd view it as a tip. Especially if it was Jif Crunchy!
