Police Blotter: Car Broken Into On Barbara Avenue
The following information was supplied by the Trenton Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.
A resident’s car was broken into on the night of Aug. 6 and a stereo and navigation unit were taken in the 5300 block of Barbara Avenue.
A 23-year-old man reported the theft to police at about 11 p.m. that night.
The man told police he was at a party on Barbara Avenue, and when he entered the car he was driving, a 2001 Ford Taurus that belongs to his sister, he noticed the items were missing.
The man said he believes someone at the party was responsible for the theft.

There were quite a few cars broken into that night. There's some not so nice teens on the block. And as far as Saturday, august 6, that "party" got so out of hand, boys were peeing right in the middle of the street. Not to mention the insane amount beer n liquor bottles that littered the streets and OTHER PEOPLES YARDS. I can't say I have alot of sympathy for them after the mess they left for everyone else to clean up!

Hopefully they can recover the items. Our car was broken into but our GPS was returned after a neighbor found it in their yard, turned it over to police, and they turned it on and hit "home" to receive turn by turn directions to our house :) Hope these people get lucky.

We had that problem in our area last year on Leisure Lane, fortunately we started looking out for each other as neighbors and the crimes stopped.
