Current City Clerk Kyle Stack has announced she will run against incumbent Gerald Brown for mayor of Trenton.

Trenton City Clerk Kyle Stack presented her resignation to city council members Monday night at the regularly scheduled city council meeting.
Stack said she resigned so she could run for the office of mayor of Trenton.
Councilman William LeFevre said Stack was the best clerk he had ever seen, since he was elected to council.

Her resignation is effective September 30th.
