Moped, $7,000 in Tools Stolen Out of Trailer in Trenton

A 55-year-old Trenton man reported several items including a 1999 Honda Spree and tools valued over $7,000 stolen out of his trailer at about 12:30 p.m. Feb. 25 in the 200 block of Cleveland Street.

The man told police the person who stole the items tried to hide the crime by using a lock found inside the cargo trailer and locking the trailer door after taking the items, according to a Trenton police report.

Items stolen were:

  • Sears Craftsman tool box ($2,500)
  • Tag Weather Station ($500)
  • Craftsman jacks ($100)
  • Two helmets ($150)
  • Power Glide transmission ATI Torque converter ($3,400)
  • Ear muffs ($20)
  • Honda generator ($400)
  • Tow straps ($30)
  • Honda Spree ($1000)
  • Mics ($100)
