The long awaited restaurant at Kennedy Recreation Center opened at 11 a.m. Friday.

Ron Marcissuk, acting general manager of Legends 1926 Bar & Grill, said business is going good.

"Everybody that's been in has cleaned their plates," Marcissuk said. "No one has asked for a to-go box."

Legends is open seven days a week. The hours of operation are 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Monday-Friday and open to 2 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Marcissuk said he looks forward to upcoming hockey tryouts, so customers can enjoy Legends while watching one of Trenton's favorite sports--hockey.

Previous delays with health inspections are no longer a worry said Marcissuk.

"The health inspection ... was one of only a half to one percent of businesses that pass inspection on the first time through," he said.

Marcissuk added he anticipates receiving a liquor license in about three weeks.
