Fund Created for THS Grad Fatally Struck by Car

Jessie Winterholler, 19, tragically passed away on Dec. 7 when she was fatally struck by a car in Walker, MI.

 

A web-based donation center was created for people wishing to give a monetary gift to grieving family and friends of Trenton High School graduate Jessie Winterholler.

Winterholler, who graduated in 2011, was fatally struck by a car at about 7 p.m. Dec. 7 while attempting to cross Three Mile Road in Walker, MI near Grand Valley State University, where she was a freshman, according to MLive.com.

Anyone wishing to donate can visit www.gofundme.com. So far, the Winterholler family has received over $4,000 and are nearing their goal of $15,000. Money raised will be used to cover costs for funeral services.

Visitation services are scheduled for 1 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12 at The Trenton Chapel of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes. Burial services are scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 13 at Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery, 31263 Huron River Drive, in Huron Township.

A celebration of Jessie Winterholler's life is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 13 at Woodhaven Bible Church, 18650 West Road, in Woodhaven preceding burial services. Winterholler will lie in state at 11:30 a.m. at the church.
