Former Trojan Anthony Bass Inaugural Baseball Camp 'Huge Success'

Former Trojan and current San Diego Padres pitcher Anthony Bass hosted the first pitching camp in his name at Wayne State University on Saturday, according to wsuathletics.com.

 

The first Anthony Bass baseball camp at Wayne State University was a "huge success," according to wsuathletics.com.

About 70 pitchers grades three to 12 attended the camp on Saturday to learn pitching specific lessons from Bass, a former Trenton High School Trojan and current San Diego Padres pitcher.

Bass has a 3.72 ERA and 104 strike outs through 145 innings pitched at the big league level, according to Wayne State Athletics.
