we would love to see the replicas of the ships up close and personal. You read about all that took place on these ships in school and it just makes it more interesting seeing the ships in person. Even if they are replicas. We would love to go in the afternoon.

From what I can tell from the photos, the ships look really small. I'm interested in learning how so many people traveled such a long distance in such small vessels. Also, my older two girls are just now getting interested in history, so it would be fun showing them replicas of the ships that they've learned about.

We recently toured the Titanic exhibit at The Henry Ford, this would be a great comparison to the differences in size and materials to build a ship. I am interested in seeing what the traveling space looked like during Columbus's travels. I used to teach my first grade students about these ships - it would be fantastic to see what they really looked like on the inside.

I think that it would be interesting to show our son what it was like for our ancestors. Maybe it would give him as well as us a greater appreciation for what we have now

Ships handcrafted of wood, not aluminum or steel or fiberglass, by modern ship-builders, and the only replicas ever built. How amazing the builders could replicate these most famous ships and that they travel so far every year. They are ambassadors for Columbus and his vision. We'd love to tour them!

With the kids learning history in school, it would be much more effective for the kids to see a piece of history (even if a replica) in person rather than a book. The lasting impression and memory they could take away from seeing it would be great. Just to see the detail and walk along the planks of a piece of history would be memorable.

We learned so much about these ships and their Ksignificance when we were in grade school.....our thanksgiving holiday parties seemed to revolve around it. My kids today know pretty much nothing about them and I would love the chance to share the history with them.

My children were fascinated by them and how they crossed the atlantic so long ago. Now i am anxious for my grandchildren to have the same chance to learn of our great country's history. It is so memorable to see and go on board these ships. That columbus made his long journey on.

Expensive & dull.. No presentations/explanations of what you are seeing.. No historical references.. This is not a tour, although it needs to be. Needs a docent.
