2 Trenton Residents Make Breaking, Entering Reports in 2 Days

The following information was supplied by the Trenton Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

 

Two Trenton residents reported their residences were broken into at about 10 p.m. on Oct. 12 and 13 , according to the Trenton Police Department.

  • A 63-year-old man reported his apartment was broken into at about 10 p.m. Oct. 12 in the 3300 block of Van Horn Road. The man told police he left his apartment at about 7 p.m. and when he came back he noticed his door was open. The man said he went through his apartment and checked to see if anything was missing including a space where he keeps a large amount of cash. Nothing was missing from the apartment. The front door appeared to be pried open, according to a Trenton police report.
  • A 42-year-old woman reported her house was broken into at about 10 p.m. Oct. 13 in the 300 block of Detroit Street. The woman told police she and her family left the house at about 6:45 p.m. and returned to find their side door open along with the screen door propped open. She said her 50-inch plasma television was missing out of her house. The television was valued at about $500.

I don't think it was a good idea to say he keeps a large amount of cash in is apartment along with his address.

Not a good idea? It was a stipid one. Anyone who knows this man and read this story will know his business. This man is bound to be a target for anothr break in, but the next one successful, simply because they know what to look for and what they should find.

Exactly what i thought! Now everyone's apts. on Van Horn will be broken into, duh!!!
