100 Years Ago Tiger Stadium Opened: Share Your Memories
The Detroit Tigers played their first game 100 years ago at Navin Field, a new stadium at Michigan and Trumbull. What are your memories from the ballpark at "The Corner."
A century ago the Detroit Tigers moved into a new ballpark at Michigan and Trumbull.
From 1912 until 1999, some of the greatest ballplayers in the major leagues played at the stadium.
What are your favorite memories from old Tiger Stadium? Was it the 1984 or 1968 World Series? Or maybe attending a game with a school group? Or was it sitting in the stand with your father and grandfather?
Share your memories in the comment section on Trenton Patch, and upload some of your favorite photos to site.
