Longtime Trenton resident Virginia Mary Bourassa died Oct. 6 at the age of 93. Born Virginia Mary Fogarty on Dec. 8, 1917, she is the last of 14 Fogarty children.

Bourassa is survived by her children, Joe (Mary), Karen Abramczyk, Patty (Bob) Prueitt and Paul (Donna); 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis.

Visitation and a vigil service will be held Friday, Oct. 7, between 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Trenton Chapel of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Rd.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2623 Third St., in Trenton. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery in Brownstown Township.
