John M. Ramocki, M.D., oculoplastic specialist, has joined the ophthalmic surgical team at Southgate Surgery Center. He specializes in surgical correction of eyelid abnormalities including droopy eyelids (ptosis), eyelid defects (ectropion and entropion), tearing problems, cataract surgery and general ophthalmology.

Dr. Ramocki received his medical degree from Wayne State University. He completed his ophthalmology residency as well as his fellowship in oculoplastics, neuro-ophthalmology and orbital disease at the Kresge Eye Institute, Wayne State University School of Medicine. He has been practicing since 1984 and is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.

He has received the American Academy of Ophthalmology Honor Award and is a seven-time recipient of the Kresge Eye Institute Resident Teaching Award.
